pattern bundle: on fire patterns

Both of the on fire patterns in one place. 

On fire sweater

This pattern is best suited for a confident beginner or intermediate crocheter who is comfortable with color changes. It’s also a made to measure pattern so you can ensure the perfect fit! It was tested for sizes XS-XL but can certainly be adjusted for smaller or larger sizes- please reach out to me if you have any questions about sizing!!

You will need:
4.5mm hook
3 colors of your favorite Aran weight (weight 4) yarn. You can use acrylic, cotton, or another material if you prefer. This is made to measure and you don’t have to meet gauge so it just depends on your preference.
I used Paintbox Aran weight yarn. For a size XL sweater I used:
Color 1: 5 skeins Light Purple (920 m)
Color 2: 2 skeins Dark Purple (368 m)
Color 3: 6 skeins Black (1104 m)

On fire tote bag

Just like the on fire sweater but on a tote bag instead! I loved the flame pattern and wanted to make a smaller version of the project in case making a whole sweater was too overwhelming. And I just love a good tote bag.

This pattern includes a graph to show you where to make color changes and instructions on assembling the bag. It is best suited for an intermediate crocheter or confident beginner who is comfortable with color changes- I think this could be a good project to practice your color changes if you are wanting to get better :)

Materials:
4.0mm hook
3 colors of weight 4 (worsted weight) yarn (I used less than a skein of each color).
Color A: flames (I used this yarn in Light Periwinkle: https://bit.ly/32nqchL)
Color B: flame accent color (I used this yarn in Royal Blue (it's actually not a weight 4 but it still
worked: https://bit.ly/32eSPxZ)
Color C: background color (I used this yarn in Pure Black: https://bit.ly/3Hgm3f5)
