PDF Pattern not a physical item!!
This is my take on the checkered vest trend- made with a textured stitch for an extra chunky vest that’s perfect for layering in the colder months or wearing alone when it’s a bit warmer (you can even make a super cropped version like @stitchery.ph (the black & white one pictured)).
This is a beginner friendly crochet pattern with tons of pictures to show you the steps as well as a short video tutorial on the color changes in the body of the vest. It’s also a made to measure pattern so you can ensure the perfect fit! It was tested for sizes XS-XL but can certainly be adjusted for smaller or larger sizes- please reach out to me if you have any questions about sizing!!
This pattern was tested by 11 talented crocheters to ensure that the pattern is as easy to understand as possible but if you get confused at all, don’t hesitate to message me on Instagram (@made.in.the.moment).
You will need:
2 colors of your favorite Aran/worsted (weight 4) yarn. My testers used: acrylic, cotton, milk cotton, but you should be able to use any yarn you have on hand.
You’ll need between 250-400m of the color you use for your ribbing and 100-300m of the contrast color.
6.0mm hook
Scissors
Yarn needle (for weaving in the ends)
If you purchase this pattern and enjoy it, please consider leaving me a review, it really helps!!
Happy making!!
